The Nikon S3000 arrived in quick time and in good shape. The only problem I have with Nikon is NO MANUAL. es, there is one on line but that’s amess and too much to print out. I asked Nikon for a printed copy $9.00 but they said “OUT OF PRINT”
I am from the old school and like to have a manual.

Small sleek and nice camera, response time is great for the price of camera and nikon has improved a lot on the photo quality.
The only problem i did not like was it did not have a wall charger for the battery, the camera has to be connected to the charger to charge which i did not like, otherwise and overall a very nice point and shoot camera…..

I liked my Nikon Coolpix 2100, so when it died(the on/off/shutter/telephoto quit working) I bought the CoolpixS3000. So far so good, it does a lot of things, reading the manual….trying it out. Happy so far!

I’m a photographer from way back, old school, always a proponent of film cameras. This is my first digital, bought it specifically so I can shoot images and upload to sell on eBay.
I’m a believer. This camera is very easy to use, easy to set up, and takes really good photos. I picked it specifically because it was 12MP, for better quality images, and Nikon, because their optics have always been so good.
It’s user friendly, intuitive controls. I barely looked at the instruction booklet. And, a snap to upload images to my computer.
Pictures are really sharp, almost look 3 dimensional. I’m having a lot of fun just playing around with it.
Was a great value for the price, too.
If you’re looking for a quality point and shoot digital, you can’t go wrong with this one.
