Feels like a cheap toy. The battery door doesn’t close very well. So, the flash doesn’t fire all the time.

The flash did a decent job. I can now take pictures indoors at night with great lighting. A few complaints:
- flash is heavy. with my canon digital rebel eos xti, it got heavy!! My forearms were really burning after a couple of takes but i’m sure I’d have that with any external flash
- recharge took a while. i had to wait maybe 30 whole seconds before I could take the next one. maybe my battery was low but i only used it for a few takes before i started noticing.
- noisy. while it’s recharging, this high pitch noise would stay humming and it can be annoying.
you get what you pay for and i think it was a decent purchase for the price. i’m still going to keep it and maybe keep extra batteries handy.

Very nice flash for the fraction of the price of Canon Speedlights. Works great for general and studio photography. The only complaint I have is that it goes through batteries quickly. Recharge time is ok but definitely not anywhere near my studio strobes (I wouldn’t expect it to be either).
